Three headline options for this picture.

1. Donald Trump called. He wants his hair back.
2. Bed Head, Bed Head, Roly Poly Bed Head.
3. It's like he just stepped out of a salon.

Three thumbs up for the Watermelon Margarita at On The Border.

Maybe we should slow the swing down

Thanks to Auntie Amy for the super swing.

The swing, combined with a few milk shots, was a great way to celebrate Jonah's 21st day.

Not so sure about the Baby Einstein mat...

Maybe we should have gone with Baby Nietzsche or Baby Trump...

Me so hungry

Jonah had his two week checkup today. He's grown an inch and has gained a pound. At this rate, when he's 10, he will be 40 feet tall and will weigh 240 pounds. I may be off on those numbers. I was never too good with the math.

No more #@$*#^! pictures.

One thing that's fun to do is to make our baby say adult things. It is our attempt to try and make sense of his grunting and cooing and crying and flailing arms and legs.

These are a few the recurring themes in Jonah's communications with us:

"I find this car seat to be restrictive and uncomfortable."

"I would prefer to go shirtless at this moment."

"Of couse I want to be held, just not quite at this angle. Perhaps you could tilt my body a few degrees to the left. There. Perfect."

"I was wondering if you had any more of that delicious milk. I find it to be quite satisfying."

"No. I don't know when my umbilical cord stump is going to fall off. Quit asking me about it. Gosh!"

Sprout Pouch

Jonah likes his sling. He told us so.

He communicates with us through a complex language of burps and farts.

Momma likes it too because it leaves her hands free to practice her juggling.
